SSC Weathercast – #003 – A Wrap of 2024 and New Horizons in 2025
SSC 2024 Year-End Review and 2025 Plans
As 2024 comes to a close, Snowstorm Comics reflects on a remarkable first year. From our debut at Wondercon in March to thrilling moments at major conventions, it’s been a journey filled with creativity and growth.
Highlights of 2024
- Diverse Artistic Collaborations: We’ve partnered with various talented artists to reinterpret our flagship series, “Rise of the Nephilim”, in styles ranging from Manga and Disney-like to highly realistic. It’s been an honor to bring you our freshman comic book series in so many unique ways.
- San Diego Comic Con Panel: Being part of the “Comic Creator All Stars” panel was a highlight. We had the opportunity to share our journey, from the trials and tribulations of starting Snowstorm Comics to the triumph of launching “Rise of the Nephilim”.
- New York Comic Con Experience: The support we received at NYCC far exceeded our expectations. We were thrilled to share our booth with Tehani Farr and her manager Kaye. The excitement culminated as we sold out of our #1 Standard Edition. But don’t worry – the variant edition is still available, and the second printing of our standard edition will be back in stores soon.
2024 has been full of cherishable moments, and we are eternally grateful for the interest in the story we’re sharing.
Looking Ahead to 2025
Now, it’s time to look forward. We’re excited to announce that “Rise of the Nephilim” Issue 2 will be released in the next two months. With a standard edition cover by Andrea Dailey and a variant edition cover by Tehani Farr, the new issue is crafted by Jeffrey Snow with contributions from assistant writers and editors Megan Mccauley, Jessica Verdi, Aurillya Rolfe, and more. Believe me, you don’t want to miss this new release in The Nephilim Saga.
For those who prefer sci-fi over fantasy, you’re in luck. SSC is working on a brand-new comic book series behind the scenes. Subscribe to our email newsletter for exclusive behind-the-scenes content before the official release.
We’re also thrilled to announce our return to Wondercon in 2025. We’ll bring the entire collection of “Rise of the Nephilim”, exclusive convention merchandise, and more. Plus, we have a few surprises in store, so stay tuned to our next Weathercast for more details.
We cannot thank you enough for being part of this revolution, and we look forward to evolving together in 2025.
